This is a short clip from the silent film Metropolis (1927).

It’s part of a larger project within the Audiobus forum. Some of us there have taken on the task of musically scoring this landmark film, which recently became public domain.

I improvised the new music track on two MIDI keyboards connected to Bitwig Studio on a desktop PC. There the MIDI was routed to Solo for the singing voice, as well as to Omnisphere and Plasmonic for the background instruments.
